Sometimes when the doubling makes the item free, you'll see the doubled amount for less than the original Q amount, but even after doubling this wouldn't have given me free yogurt.
40¢ x 6 = $2.40, - 75¢, -75¢, final price 6/90¢, right? Unless I'm just having a massive bout of cerebral flatulence.

not sure, lots to learn |
I doubt it. The limit for identical Qs they'll double is 3 (on 3 identical items anyway), after that they just won't double at all, and the number of items the Q is
for doesn't make a difference. They'd double 3 $50¢/2 even though you got 6 items (because you had to to be able to use 3 Qs).
(Side note: I believe their policy says the thing about identical
items, so you could get 3 of one flavor/scent/whatever, and 3 of another, and still be able to use 6 of the same Q for all of them and have them double, but I don't know if the register would do that, if you'd have to get it overridden, and if you'd have to stand there and go through the Q policy with the cashier. Easier just to do 2 transactions IMO.)
I'm not terribly worried about it, since a coupon mistake gave me a great deal at CVS, but it's just odd.
Slickcat, you're probably right, although the 7¢ instead of 5 is weird. Definitely makes me reconsider using yogurt coupons and expecting them to double, though.
Also makes me glad I didn't take it up with CS because neither one of us would have had the first clue what we were talking about. I've read a little about coupon coding so I kinda understand why they're coded that way, and why they let it happen, but it sucks for those of us who get doubles.
