Harris Teeter ~ Question: Hello there! Newbie to HT!

I just have some questions :)

Let me explain: I live in the Louisville, KY area and plan to make it down to the one of the HT triples or SD events in Nashville....which I hear has a Publix, too. WELL.

When does HT usually do SD or triples? Once a month? Once every three months? Can we predict when the next one will be?

Also, what do they triple up too?

HT triples and SD are not usually known for certain until a few days before, when someone can get a preview of the ad for the week. The pattern for these events seems to vary. Sometimes once a month, sometimes two times a month, sometimes no times a month. For triples they will triple any coupon 99 cents or less (so a 50 cent would be $1.50), SD is double coupon up to $1.98 face value (so a $1.50 would be SD'd to $3). HTH

if you want to watch the HT forum closely, you can expect to see "rumors" of triples or super doubles. :shrug7:
If you "do not" like roller coasters of hope and disappointment, just wait until you see it printed on your weekly ad. Different regions will have triples and others will not and the threads may not say right off the bat what area that is rumored to be having triples (or SD and when). The HT forum is far more reliable for HT "events" than some store chains. Just take the rumors with a grain of salt. You are a long way from Nashville. You ought to locate the phone numbers for some of the HT's in Nashville and call them to make sure they are having triples or SD.
You can go to their website and signup to get e-mail alerts (I get 2 a week) and one will have a link to the weekly ad.

They do have rules for triples. Only 3 like coupons for like varieties and your mileage (success) may vary.
Some stores will take 3 Campbell's coupons on Tomato soup and 3 more Campbell's coupons on Chicken Noodle. Other stores won't take but 3 Campbell's coupons period.
Limit of two internet coupons, triples or not.
