A bunch of my coupons beeped today but got pushed through:
    - .40/1 Pepperidge Farm on the bagel things
    -1.00/4 on the DelMonte veggies
-.75/1 on the Solo cups - 1 did not beep the other 2 did
I was told once, by my store's "meat guy", that they can't clearance that day's meats until after 2 pm....so I don't hope for any good clearanced meats until then.

But before that drama, I got:

    3 - Heinz ketchup
    4 - Chex Mix
    Total OOP - $4.50

    Son got:

    3 - Heinz ketchup
    2 - Cheez-It
    Total OOP - $4.57

I seem to be buying a lot of snack stuff since starting couponing! I need to know how to save on meats.
Glad you are OK after your adventiure!

I see from your profile you live in NC. The best way to save on meats are beer rebates. NC is a (NBPN - no beer purchase necessary) state - by law they can't require you to buy beer to participate in the rebates they offer. There are several out for meat. For example their is a Miller Light $5 off $15 worth of beef, buns, condiments are pickles. If you send in your $15 receipt with the qualifing items and the rebate form you'll get a check in the mail for $5. Go to the "Gimmie My Money Back" forum to learn more. You can sometimes find the beer forms in your beer asile and also trade for them on here. Good luck!

I always go to HT last on my shopping run for this reason. I always find the best markdowns later at night when they are cleaning up for the evening. Last week I got flank steak (use for fajitas), beef short ribs and filet mignons. Hope DH will make a run for me tommorrow. I'm hoping for more free sour cream.
I had sanity once upon a time I promise . It was just so long agoooo that I can't remember it.

I used up my.75/1 heinz ketchups yesterday- paid a little over $3 for 10 bottles of heinz and 10 gatorade g2s. I submitted the receipt for a $7.50 NBPR rebate so this was a moneymaking trip!

I have used up the 16 bags of flour I got plus the 5 rainchecks with 2 each. I have had to pay full price for my last several bags. Luckily I have some coupons for the Yeast making it free and I also have $.75/1 bag of flour 2lbs or more wyb 2 yeast. And even luckier the last 3 times I have used it, it doubled (it starts with a 9)! It beeps and it has to do with the way they are entereing it I guess. I just hope flour goes on sale soon and the yeast stays $.99. It is over $2 most everywhere else.
I have two breadmakers and get my yeast in two vacuum sealed blocks of 1 lb each at BJ's, Fleishmans and it's under $5 for two lbs, and since they are vacuum sealed bags and have long expiration dates, it's wonderful! Once I open one of the bags, I put it in the fridge, refilling a small jar (4 oz) and use that for measuring from, easier than the bag.

So if you run out of deals on active dry yeast, find a friend with a BJ's membership
