Grand Opening 02/10/10 New Harris Teeter Fairfax, VA Store

Has anyone been yet to the new store? I will report back tomorrow my findings.

Don't forget about the prescription $20 VIC card credit (see previous info posted) for the Grand Opening store. Also, as reported on other thread, SD(s) is reported to be on for week of 02/17/10. I will try to provide the ad early.

With SD(s) and the Grand Opening prescription $20 VIC card credit, I see infinite possibilities.

For those of you wishing to venture to the new Fairfax, VA store, it is open. I just called to confirm (phone number listed on HT web site); and Jeremy, CS Clerk, told me that the parking lot and roads are pretty clear. Apparently, they opened on schedule yesterday.

I am going there early in the AM. I will report back my findings.

Well, I ran out of time today and didn't make it to the new Fairfax store. We are going tomorrow AM. By the way, someone from another board, asked me if the store was a 24 hour store. Yes, according to the HT web site.

Just click on the Store Locator tab for phone info and details. I will look for coupons, etc. tomorrow and report back. Also, I think the store has a Starbucks kiosk.

You are welcome. I didn't like the new store layout; but for the Rx credit I will roll my prescriptions to gain the full benefit.

I checked out the new HT Fairfax, VA store today. No Starbucks kiosk. I guess that ran out of $? When you go to the Prescription Department at Fairfax store, there is a green flyer with the prescription information and the dates of the VIC Card $20 credit info. It states when the promotion starts and ends. It is located on the Prescription Desk or just ask for it. I grabbed several to keep--one at home on my fridge magnet clip, one in my purse, coupon binder, and one in the car.

I also wrote down product/price information to compare sales and regular prices. I gathered info from the laundry and detergent aisle. I will post a separate thread with my findings comparing products, sales prices and when sales end, regular prices, and quantity/ounces of products.

I will try to keep this updated and post info by weekend on HT forum.

Wow. That will be great. Thank a lot. I grabbed one Rx flyer too this morning. It says the Rx promo ends 3/31/10. But my receipt shows it ends 5/31/10. Interesting. They were out of free gucamele, 8th continent soy milk. Other than those, I got everything on my list. BTW, the 50 feet reynolds aluminium wrap is $2.14 instead of $2.44 at this store. It's a good place to use my 1/1 q's which excludes 20, 25, 30 ft ones. You rock, Foodie!

Also, since I also shop in Warrenton, VA at the HT store location, Ed, Asst. Manager and Cathy, Co-Manager are now at the new Fairfax store. They were formerly at the Warrenton store. Great managers to override if needed for coupon deals. Just call beforehand and see what they are working and I tell them how helpful they are to me.
