Well, I don't have a HT, but acquired alot of philly cream cheese either free (on sale at a local store 10/10) or really cheap when Target & SWM had them $1.18/$1.19 each using $1/1 cpn.

If you want to make a quick dip (which goes great with chips or veggies), just soften a block of cream cheese (i zap if in a dish for about 20-30 seconds), then mix with garlic powder. I dont measure...just kinda eyeball it, probably 1/2 to 1 tbsp. I find it tastes best if its made a few hours or a day ahead to let the garlic infuse with the cream cheese.

If you like Alfredo sauce, there is a knockoff Olive Garden recipe thats really good. Per other reviews, I use the entire block of cream cheese instead of 2tbsp. Olive Garden Fettuccine Alfredo - 8596 - Recipezaar
