i just add fruit to them, then depending on the consistency you want you can add a little milk, ice or fruit juice. if not sweet enough, you can add a little sugar, artificial sweetener or vanilla extract.

i add yogurt, ice, bananas, frozen strawberries, blueberries, raspberries. pretty much whatever fruit i have on hand. my 5 year old and 2 1/2 year old love smoothies you can even sneak V8 fusion in there for a vegetable serving. i have picky eaters so i have to be sneaky.

I cut up some bananas and strawberries, keep them frozen, then when I make my smoothies I use the frozen fruit, some ff vanilla yogurt, & light vanilla soymilk. They taste like milkshakes, they're so good! ANother good recipe is to use fresh frozen pineapple with the bananas, and add the yogurt, but use a little OJ instead of milk. so great. it reminds me of an Orange Julius frozen drink.
Hello from Charleston, SC!!
I make smoothie for my husband or else there is no way he will eat fruit by itself. I put ice, yogurt (I mix plain and flavored), OJ or sometimes the free SunnyD that I got, frozen fruit (strawberries, pineapple, mango) and sometimes a little soy milk if he wants it milky. :)
Cheers..

I actually saw a great tart recipe on the Martha Stewart show yesterday using greek yogurt, brown sugar, vanilla (I think)...all poured into a graham cracker crust and topped with fresh fruit. I can't be sure exactly since I work third shift, was sleepy and watched it with one eye open. LOL
