Overage Obviously HT will not give you money back for an overage. But here's my question. If you have a transaction where coupons cause the value of an item to be negative, will that negative apply to your total?
For example: I have a Q for $1.50 off Wet Ones, and if I use it next week it will double. The cost of the wipes is $2.89. Does that negative 11¢ get applied to the rest of the transaction, in effect taking 11¢ off the total, or does the register just adjust the value of the coupon to match the price of the item?
Apologies if this is a dumb or confusing question, or if it's already answered elsewhere (although I've looked and can't quite figure it out). I'm new at this, and I've never used a Q at HT where the value of the Q would be greater than the value of the item. I like to do the math before I go so I know what to expect.
TIA
