Harris Teeter: Triples NOT happening week of 12/9- confirmed

I live two hours from a Harris Teeter, I don't get the ad.

I'm about a hour away and don't get a ad. I also cannot veiw their online ad because I do not have internet and have to use my Blackberry phone. Thankfully I can log onto HCW to veiw/post. Whew!

Is www.hotcouponworld.com the only website Blackberry can access?
I was thinking of getting one, to use for other websites like Harris Teeter and others.

Seriously??? What's with the attitude??? Of course I will check my local ad when it comes out on Wednesday But since we all know some get a sneak peak at the ads early, I was hoping to get a confirmation so I could get coupons togeather.

You and others that have such bad attitudes on HCW is the reason why I prefer NOT to come over to this site. I prefer the nicer, more helpful competitor site.

It seems the member who started this thread should not post rumors from friendly clerks. That is what has created the entire dialogue in this thread, an erroneous thread started.

Let me point out one other note: The thread starter has not returned to apologize for misleading us. And if you note, they have only posted 2 times and one of those post was this thread. Why would someone join HCW just to say their friendly clerk said triples in their area? THAT is why I do not take some threads about triples to be serious, too many false alarms.
The person who started this thread should explain what went wrong? Why they joined to state hearsay. I think I'll go look and locate their other thread and see what it says.

feel free to post informative threads or any thread. That is the reason for the forums. Your source happened to be mistaken this time.
Some people got their hopes up and I just gave my opinion that some confirmation, at some point, will verify it (maybe the ad, their website or a report here). Everyone here hopes for super doubles or triples. The ad, or their website, or a copy of the ad posted here can always confirm the event. It's been awhile with HT, I wonder what is going on behind the scenes, are they going to really give it to us once a month or twice a month in the new year, or maybe they are going to suspend those promotions. I've never asked my manager, but I might because I have not seen any threads from my area. You did the best thing and that was to state your area. The triples can be a regional thing and they can rotate. They may or may not have triples in their entire system and it may not be happening in all areas.

My Kroger here in Nashville has been matching HT triples. I spoke to the manager at that Kroger last week. She said that she did not look for HT to do triples or SDs again until January. She said that people shop this time of year regardless of coupon promotions...makes sense. And quite frankly, I won't have the time to take full advantage if they do offer it. So we'll see...

I kept the emails from HT - the first one I rec'd with triples was dated 2/4/09 for (4) days only February 5th thru February 8th

Look at your email dated 12/31/08. It announces Triples 1/1/09 - 1/4/09.
Only significance to me is that they found New Year's Day to be a good day to start triples.... poor employees.
