QUESTION What Kind of deals to expect?

Our local Harris Teeter will be 'moving' across the road to a brand new building. From the new accounts they are treating this as a 'Grand Opening'. I am wondering if anyone has had their Harris Teeter relocate like this, and if so, what kind of deals can we expect? Is there any chance at all that they will triple for this Grand Opening?

we had a new store open in July and many customers began receiving $20/$50 coupons in the mail and they have been coming regularly every week. About 3 weeks ago, it went to $10/$40 coming in the mail instead so I guess it will be phased out but this has lasted for months. Its been great!! They didn't do the triples as a special event for that store but they had a huge grand opening with lots of free food to taste!

Our store moved to a new building across the road earlier this year. They didn't do any special coupon events but the one thing I do remember is for every prescription you filled there for the first 3 months, they gave you $20 in free groceries.

Our store opened just last spring. They did the $20/$50 coupons as well as the $20/presciption deal. Pretty nice.

One thing that our store did was have a Friends and Family Opening Celebration the night before opening. It was a casual catered dinner and they had door prizes, too. My son actually won the grand prize - a portable DVD player! After it was over they had tons of food leftover which they encouraged us to take. They said take as much as you want. Not being one to pass up an offer of free food, we ended up with at least $200 of food for the freezer! Were we ever glad we went! So if you know anyone who works there, see if they won't invite you to theirs!
