Lalee will become famous soon enough
Default Re: Harris Teeter: Post your triples trips here!

went to the new store in Williamsburg, VA that just opened for business this morning.

1 5lb bag sugar (e-vic item) = .99
1 Mt. Olive Sweet Relish .50q = .49
2 Mueller Spaghetti .55q = .35
2 Pillsbury All Purpose Flour = 1.98
1 Karo Light Syrup .40q = .99
1 Mazolla Cooking Spray .50 = Free
2 A&H Toothpaste 3.00q = 1.00
1 Fleishman's Yeast .40 = Free
1 Country Crock spreadable butter .50 = Free

I paid $6.16 and saved $22.13!

plus the e-vic item was a 5 lbs bag of HT Sugar for .99, mine was out of HT sugar and had a substitute brand. I'm guessing they did this because it was grand opening day and they didn't want to have items unavailable?!

2 Organic Valley Half and Half
2 Organic Valley Cream
1 Capri Sun
1 Soft Pretzels
3 Coke Zero
2 Orvilles Popcorn
1 Mentos gum (I can't believe this store actually had it!)
1 Yeast
2 Danamials smoothies
2 Honest Kids organic drink pouches
3 Zesta
1 HT sugar
6 Muellers Sketti
1 Progresso Broth
2 Zatarans rice

Paid $12.47
WHAT A MESS! I had to go to CS to get a refund the the capri sun (shelf tag was wrong). I also had 2 coupons for $3 off wyb 1 12pk coke product and 1 orvilles popcorn. The cashier didn't understand that the coupon beeped because any coupon or R/C over $2.99 needs an M/O....she took off one soda then was convienced that it took off the whole $5.99 but didn't notice it added back on $3. Called for help then her and the other person got into an argument. I stood there and said nothing. Then I paid while she was over at CS arguing. She came back and then tried to explain to me what was going on (I wasn't going to argue). My order needed an override because of the items that had been voided. She then tried to show me on her screen what was what...Then it said I still needed to pay (even though I put my $20 bill in it already)....Different CS had to come over to get my $20 out of the uscan...Finally I got my receipt and went to CS explained what happened. I got my refund for the capri sun ($2.04) and got the soda popcorn thing straightened out...paid my $1.21 for what still needed to be paid for. Then the other guy (the one the cashier hollered at) gave me 2 $5 GC for my troubles!

So all that for $1.64 net!

Okay, Val, seriously - do ANY of the people at ANY of the stores in your area like you? 'Cause you know we love you here but it seems they are not your fans.

I have been yesterday and today - don't feel like posting everything but spent $4.xx yesterday and $1.79 today fro about $80 worth of stuff so I'm happy with that.

Waiting on some more coupons in a trade to get some more free muffin mix and cheap pepperoni!

My store was out of just about everything!

I got:
22 Gerber baby food (various stages)
2 Mahatma
3 Poptarts
6 Ortega guacamole packets (only kind left)
1 Electrasol
1 French's Worchestershire
1 Pumpkin pie mix (no coupon)
1 Butterfinger (no coupon but that was lunch! )
6 Zatarains

Paid $17.81
Saved $47.07

I'm not very impressed with myself. LOL Oh well, maybe the other store will have more of a selection tomorrow.

Honestly I think people either love me or hate me....And God help them if they piss me off.

I was VERY Proud of myself today at that store. I am so tired already and to have to stand there for 20 minutes while this person tries to "fix" things. I don't normally go to this store, but I was at Target and this store is bigger. I like this particular cashier she is always friendly and I really wasn't trying to give her a hard time-however she is also one of those people that you can't tell her how it should be done.

I guess I was in a good mood today-or too tired to fight. Lucky day for the cashiers I guess.

does your experience. in any way, suggest that someone from this site or other coupon site needs to host a coupon seminar and invite "clerks and managers?"

Sometimes I think it is needed. They won't dare listen to a customer when a situation arises. The clerks and manager are surely thinking: HOW can THEY be correct.......?
I had a similar trip to yours last week at Bloom.
