Expired Dollar General Competitor Coupons

Hi,

Since we may be having Triples next week, I thought I would post a great sales circular that was in my The Times Community newspaper here in N VA area. Also, you will find the ad circulars at your local Dollar General stores starting 11/01/09, Sunday (per my store manager in Warrenton, VA).

The sales circular prices are good for 11/01/09, Sunday to 11/08/09, Monday. On the back page is a great coupon from Dollar General to use at Competitors for a Competitor Coupon (i.e. Harris Teeter, Target/Super Targets, Wal-mart/Super Wal-mart stores, etc.). Of course, it may be YMMV, depends on your stores, etc. My HT stores will accept it as a Competitor Coupon.

The coupon is 10% OFF FOR VETERAN'S DAY DISCOUNT and is on the back page on the bottom left corner of the sales ad. The coupon states good only for 11/11/09, Wednesday. But you can ask your managers (store) if they might accept it. Worth a shot--right? Otherwise, you can use at Dollar General or elsewhere.

I will post the sales flyer prices of some products on the Dollar General store forum. Just grab some "extra" ad circulars from Dollar General's stores (I asked the managers--they don't care!) and use them at DG or elsewhere if possible. Also, use the DG sales circular at Wal-mart/Super Wal-mart and Target/Super Target stores for "price matching" products.

Happy Clipping Couponers--Ready, Set, Clip--:hectic1:

Hot Button Re: Dollar General Competitor Coupons

I have posted the highlights of the first 2 pages of DG's ad on the Dollar General forum. Also, if you "price match" at Wal-mart/Super Wal-mart or Target/Super Target stores (or others), ask if your stores will "substitute" their house brand or comparable item. Most stores will.

Just take your ads. Also, check the Coupon Database for match-ups, etc.

Blessings--

Hi,

Since it is confirmed that Triples will occur, I thought I would also post on this thread as well as the "Dollar General..." thread under the "National Chain Stores..." forum--November 2009 Dollar General coupons that you can perhaps--YMMV use at HT's sale with Manufacturer Coupons.

Today at the Dollar General Store, I found that these coupons are in their newstand in their stores. Usually in front of the doors or registers. Dollar General coupons expires 12/05/09. These are SEPARATE from their weekly sales ad. Below are the coupons and perhaps you may combine with Manufacturer Coupons if applicable at DG or HT--:shrug7:

Lipton Teas (12 pk.) $2/off when you buy Two (2)
FREE One (1) (20 oz.) Vitamin Water Single when you buy Four (4) (20 oz.) Vitamin Water Singles Any Flavor
Chex Mix Traditional or Cheddar $.50/off 1
Fruit Blasters Fruit Punch Drink (10 pk.) $.25/off 1
Welch's 100% Grape Juice (64 oz.) $.50/off1
Sucrets Complete (18 ct.) $1.50/off 1
Energerizer Batteries (4 pk. AA or AAA, 2 pk. C or D, or 1 pk. 9 Volt) $.25/off 1
Luvs Mega Diapers $1/off 1
GE CFL's 13W or 26W (Single or Double pk.) $1/off 1
Clorox Disinfecting Wipes $1/off 2
Spray N' Wash $.75/off 1
Jet Dry $.75/off 1
DG HealthSense Omeprazole (14 ct.) $1/off 1
DG HealthSense All Day Allergy (30 ct.) $.50/off 1
Elf Cosmetic Product 25%/off 1

The above-mentioned coupons (except for the DG house brand) has Manufacturer Coupons that are current--see the Coupon Database for details and match-ups.

I will post more info on DG's threads.

Have fun--

Are these mfr Qs? Does the code start with a 5?
I can't see how they could be combined with other mfr Qs.

No, these are DG Store Coupons. YMMV--just ask your store first. If you can't use the DG coupons at HT, use Manufacturer Coupons with the DG coupons at DG, I guess.

Ok, thanks. I guess they'll have to stay at DG then since HT will only accept $ off total order competitor Qs.

Policy:

Competitor’s Coupons
  • We gladly accept local competitors’ circular or direct-mail coupons for MONEY OFF THE TOTAL ORDER; we do not take competitor’s coupons for money off specific items.
  • We do not accept any internet coupons from other retailers.
