Today at my local HT store, a customer in front of me had problems scanning her VIC Card. So the CSM called the (800) number with the customer (we were at the Customer Service Desk). Apparently, the customer's VIC Card is only allowed to be scanned 7 times per day. I guess this is true when your VIC Card reaches its 20 limit coupons that double/triple. You can still use the other coupons for face value deductions from your bill.
I asked the customer and Customer Service Desk Managers and they told me this was true. Anyone checked on this yet? Has this been anyone's experience?
I have had mine repeatedly turned off after 5...I haven't done it lately though. Also I wasn't doubling my coupons at the time. I was getting the Tava that was $.99 and my Q was for $1.50 off (this was a while ago). My kid was with me and although I had only gone to 2 stores at this point, my kid was using the same card to buy candy. He did 1 transaction at the first store and 3 at the second. When I went to use my card at this second store it was locked (1+1+3). I was really ticked at my kid because he would buy 1 item (CANDY) then turn around and buy another one seperately and then did it again.
BiLo limits theirs to 5 also, Food Lion and Lowes Foods have no limits on theirs.

In the past mine has also locked out after 5. I have not used it that much in several months so maybe they have upped it to 7 since. I only use my card a lot during coupon events and as those seem to have dried up, it appears likely my card will do the same thing.
