Tide Detergent or Tide Stain Release

Hi,

Here is a great deal for Tide laundry detergent or Tide Stain Release (all scents). In the Safeway circular sale Page 3 (right hand side of Page 3) for the week of 10/14/09 to 10/20/09, there is a Safeway STORE COUPON for $1/off coupon which makes the 50 ounce detergent $5.99 on sale. The Safeway Club price is $6.99/with Safeway Shoppers Club Card. Normally, Safeway's price (without coupons or Club Card) is $7.99.

Also, there are several coupons (listed on the HCW Coupon Database under Coupon Resources tab) which you can combine with Safeway's STORE COUPON .

Normally, the HT and Safeway prices for the 50 ounce Tide detergent are priced at $7.99. Other varieties for the Tide sale are as follows--

50 ounce 2X Liquid
70 to 61 ounce Powder
18 count 26 to 36 ounces
Selected varieties (per coupon)


I picked up 20 bottles for $5.99 (honored per store manager's approval--I told him that I didn't want to shop at Safeway) and used P&G coupons and other coupons that I had been saving. I paid $4.99 (after the discounts) for each bottle. I purchased HE Free and Clear and the Regular Tide detergent. It may be YMMV.

If you cannot use Safeway coupons at HT, then price match at Target or Wal-mart stores.

Don't forget the Safeway circular ad ends today, Tuesday 10/20/09. So grab those flyers (I grabbed about 25 flyers in the front of my local Safeway store to use for price matching) for price matching at Wal-mart, Target, and if YMMV HT will do the "deal" for Safeway coupons. HT should honor the coupons for Tide. The flyers are in a newstand in the door entrance/exit doors when you go in the Safeway stores.
