My understanding is that there is an email out to the employees threatening to fire them if they give away info. Let's not take any chances on them getting hurt.

All I've heard on this is that some customers, at HT and Bloom, are "slipped" a copy of the ad for the triple or super double week, by a clerk.

My experience here is less than 2 years, but I've never seen a triples/super-doubles event that did not include all HT stores...except as a PP mentioned, the Outer Banks/Vacation spots.
So when one person has "confirmation" I accept it as across the board.
Never have I heard of Raleigh having triples and Charlotte not or anything like that.

Yep...and the less we ask HT themselves about it and the less we give out too much info about who/what city, the more likely someone will continue to slip those ads.

I also never let myself get too excited about a triple or super double event rumor on any board, the way I see it, if it happens---it happens. If it doesn't happen, then oh well, it is certainly not the end of the world! lol

And NEVER ever call the store to try and confirm this. If they wanted us to know about the event early then they would be advertising it. We are only making it harder to get early copies of the ads when we call because then they know someone is leaking the information. Plus, if you alert the employees then a lot of times they do their shopping early! I have gone into my HT many times and the employees will look at me funny and then figure out it must be a triple or super double event because that is the only time I shop there and since I am normally there very early it is easy to notice mePatience is a virtue!

Last triples and super doubles were only a week apart right? so it could be possible....i'm actually kind of hoping for a break since we've had Kroger tripling/super doubling in competition lately, and it's been amazing....but wearing me out!!

Ditto and I have never seen it be wrong once confirmed. Only the OP and a mod. can edit Title/heading...surely a mod will not steer us wrong and the OP doesn't want a bad wrap if its not true once "Confirmed". :shrug7:

Judging from my past experience with doubles, I'm not too terribly excited. I think I did *worlds* better during triples than I've done with any doubles but I haven't really had a chance to go through my coupon stash to compare with Express Lane prices...maybe there will be some delightful surprises in store. The one thing I am excited about it is the fact I have two rainchecks for coke 12 packs at its lowest price and $1/2 coupons to use.
