HAPPY DANCE Re: Post your triples deals!!!

My husband and I went to HT today and we both used 20Q ... I am assuming that everyone here has their items rung up on coupon items only. I had not thought of doing it that way. My order only had three items that didn't have Qs.

    Total Groceries: $67.78
    Coupons -$35.19
RX Dsc -$20.00 (I had 9 RX filled a couple weeks ago)
    Store Sale -$10.14
    OOP $2.45 !!!! I was SO excited!!! SAVED: $65.33

    Then... my husbands basket had:
    Total Groceries: $106.26
    Coupons -$35.35
RX Dsc -$20.00 (my husband had 3 RX filled)
    Store Sale -$26.52
    GM 15 items -$ 5.00
    OOP $19.39!!!!! SAVED: $86.87

TOTAL SAVED $152.20 WOW... I love being able to typed this!!! :-) I have only been couponing since the last triples at HT and I couldn't wait for it to come back!!!

Now, I have a Q ... we can only use 20 Q a day ... does that mean I have to wait 24 hours to go back or can I go back at midnight ???

Are the CATS that everyone talks about, are those the coupons we get when we check out? This is what I got...

Save $1 Duncan Hines Whole Grain Muffin Mix
    Save $1.25 V8 Fusion
Save $.50 Dole All Natural Fruit
    Save $.50/2 Dole Fruit Bowls

Thanks to everyone ... it is because of everyone here that I am able to do this kind of savings!!! I only wish I would have found you sooner!!! Bless you all!!!

I freeze mine all the time, and the only thing (as mentioned) they are not as fluffy as ones that weren't frozen. I will take the frozens ones camping and they are thawed by the time we use them. This last time we went camping we didn't use them all so I put the unopened cans in the frige when we got home. I noted a few days later they had popped open. I honestly just tossed them, it wasn't like I wasn't getting anymore. I still donate more than I keep (but I buy A LOT!).

I was wondering if you could just take them out of the tube and flash freeze them then stick them in a ziploc bag. I have even thought about going to the freezer section and copying the directions from a bag of the Pillsbury biscuits. I just don't know how long they will last this way and if it is even possible to do it. What do you think?

This has been a fun week! I have enough pizza rolls, canned and frozen veggies, biscuits, mexican food, and chex mix to last us at least six months!!

I'm also not allowed to go to a grocery store for many, many weeks per my hubby!
