Harris Teeter ~ Rave: I love my HT!!!!

My HT is so customer Friendly! I have a TON of the free babyfood q's, I have nearly emptied a few stores in my area and barely put a dent in my pile. I went in today and asked if they would/could just order X amount in for me and they said "Not a problem"! I also have a ton of the Mentos gum, that I can never seem to find, I asked about them as well. It will all be in on this Thrusday and they'll call me to let me know they have it! I don't know why I shop anywhere else! Just wanted to share my excitement with people who would care! (my DH was like 'woohoo I guess?')

I totally understand your excitement at getting good customer service. During triples, they were out of the Solo cups that would be free after coupon. When I went to CS for a rain check, they substituted a higher count cup for me at the same price and were excited for me when they were free. I was so thrilled you'd have thought they had given me a million dollars! Needless to say I've told anyone who would listen to me long enough about why they have to start shopping there :)

wow! that was great of them!! my HT is very YMMV...one time they cannot do enough for you, next trip they could care less....its great to hear that at least someone has a good CS dept!

Please tell us where you are! My HT terrible!! I went there yesterday and my $1.50 off Hot Shot could did not double, when I asked about it -- they just shrugged their shoulders and said "there's nothing we can do about it!" The could did not say "DND". Still no Hot Shot for me -- I only had one can. Also, there was a woman in the line beside me -- they almost had her in tears. She had five extra items and had asked if she could split up her order -- people converged on her and were LOUDLY telling her she could NOT have more than 20 coupons!! She explained that she didn't know that was the rule. So much DRAMA!

I live in Charlotte, I love them, I went in to get my 60 jars of baby food and 20 mentos gum my total oop..... drum roll please...... 1.87!!!! They were so happy for me! I tell you it was like Christmas Morning! They are always soooo nice and are always interested to see what my bill will come to!

i love my harris teeter in davidson nc.
it is very close to davidson college and there are always college kids working there and they are so nice, laid back, and fun to talk to. i love it when they say "wow!". the managers are fabulous and even the people who are stocking always say "hello, how are you?" and they are always well stocked for sales.
i never have trouble with coupons, i do try to obey the "rules" though.
they always double the dnd 5's.
today, i left my coupon box at the register. after freaking out at home, i drove back. i went to CS and thank God! it was there. i asked the lady if i could give her a hug...i was so happy. she said yes :)

That is some haul. I wish my HT would except more than 3 q's per item. I can't believe they let you use 80 q's.

The HT I go to is in South Charlotte.... Great customer service. I only started shopping there early this year and so far so good. No drama, no questions... Just smiles and lots of thank you and sorry (if the cashiers mess something up)

I was surprised too that they let me use soooo many Q's, I even offered to follow the rules and do them day by day, but they said that would be silly and that I would miss out on all the other deals i could be getting!

Now we are looking at buying ahouse and I told my DH we have to stay close to 'my' HT, he thinks I'm crazy! LOL

I know what you mean!! LOL.... When we were searching for a new apartment to rent, I repeatedly reminded my DH that to make sure we have a HT nearby.. LOL...
