Harris Teeter Rumor Super Doubles 8/26-9/1- Confirmed

I'm still very new to this, the super double in July was my first. I got the impression then that there would only be one (super OR triple) week each month, but then we got the triples less than a month later. Do you think there will be another double soon, or do you think it'll be sometime in september?

I ask because the kinds of products I use regularly seem more apt to have buck coupons, so now that I know about super doubles I hate use them in 'normal' mode. :)

I don't think there is any predicting it. Since they did the first super doubles I haven't been able to predict anything....

I love HT, but man, I am getting burned out! I hate to say it, but (gasp) I am getting sick of sorting coupons. I just can't bring myself to pass up a good deal!

i was thinking about this it would seriously throw us off. But I wouldn't mind.. lol.

I seriously doubt it. The grocery manager at my store said the last super doubles didn't go so well at my store. I guess that's why they did triples. But who knows they might just do it to trip us up.

Hmm. I've definitely noticed more people with bigger stacks of coupons during triples. It may just be the kind of stuff I use but I have a lot more dollar coupons. :\

I would just pass out if they did super doubles this month! But, I actually heard the store does better with super doubles because they lose less money. So I don't think anyone really knows what is going on at Harris Teeter.

and I think that is exactly what they want. We were getting too good at predicting and having LOTS of great coupons ready. If we are unsure, then we can't be near as prepared and they don't lose as much money.

They aren't really doing it for us Super Couponers either....they want people like my SIL who floats from grocery store to grocery store and decides to go to HT this week because of triples, does a whole shopping trip and uses only 5 coupons:shrug7:
