Thanks to my reading up on it here I went to HT today ready for all sorts of responses to this coupon. I have an awesome local HT though so I was hoping for the best.
I was so happy!
When I got to the cashier (same one i had yesterday) I handed her the coupons and said, "The bar code starts with a 9, so it won't double automatically, but the coupon doesn't say 'Do Not Double' so I was hoping it could be done manually."
The cashier called customer service over and I explained the same thing to him. He pushed it through manually.
But because he pushed it through I ended up with an overage on those coupons. So ended up with a $1.01 overage for each of the two coupons I used. That was a nice surprise.
What a nice suprise. I had trouble with this coupon. Since it didn't double, CS assumed that I had already used my 20 coupons for the day. I explained that I had not gone at all yesterday and only this trip today. Also, I explained that if that were the case, the other coupons on my order wouldn't have doubled since they scanned the Hot Shot coupon first. It took five minues, but they finally did double it up to the value of the item for me.
