I think my wife is correct. When I signed up for the card, I threw the sign up sheet away...so they didn't get any of my info to put on the card. The only way they could have linked them is from using the same credit/debit card on both cards.

But like my beautiful wife said...if everyone just followed the rules, this isn't an issue.

Yes according to the rules you can have different cards as long as they are linked to the same household. So lets not discuss anything different.

Also I have mystery shopped HT too and they are not having us look for coupon violations. Managers make up the craziest stuff!

I think I would have said, "I have never heard of such a thing...could you please get that in writing for me. I'll be back tomorrow with this same coupon and I'd either like it double per your policy or I'd like something in writing saying why it cannot be."

I bet he would just double it for your or at least double it the next day.

I did this with the cheese last week. They tried tell me I couldn't split orders and do 3 cheeses in each transaction and use 3 coupons in each transaction (I was no where near the 20 limit); they were trying to block me using 6 of the same coupon. I said lets look at the policy on the CS desk and we walked over. We argued for a minute and he talked about e-mails from corp, etc and I said well will you please show me something in writing that the policy has changed and he said, "just go ahead and do it, but go through different lines each time."

I think I called BS and he got caught, but I was so nice about it, he couldn't get upset
