Not sure what you mean by 'combining' the kraft coupons since the tearpads are manufacturer's coupons...

They are not supposed to limit you to using 1 cat per order. The cats are almost always manufacturer's coupons and they are supposed to take them as long as it wouldn't make them give you cash back. I've never had an issue using as many as I need to in my order.

Help me out in my thinking. Wouldn't it be better to buy 5 cheeses and get $4.00 CAT back....assuming you bought 2 different kinds of cheeses to be able to use 5 of the same coupon? And if your store is more strict and you can't do this, wouldn't it be better to buy 5 and used 3 tearpad coupons and 2 $1/1 IP coupons?

Anyone's thoughts on this? Is this okay?

The kraft tearpad coupons are manufacturer's coupons and CAN NOT be combined with other kraft cheese coupons. You can use one or the other. As for using more than 1 cat coupon per order - HT has no restrictions on this - they are man qs as well.

Lets see if you did 5 to get a $4 cat it would be:

$1.47 X 5 = $7.35
- .50/1 doubled X 3 = -$3
- $1/1 IPS = -2

= $2.35 get $4 cat back

comes out ot .47 each. If you do the 3 to get $2 cat it is also .47 each.

Yes, the price is the same.....but you get a higher CAT for your OOP.

1.41 get 2 back = .59 mm 41% of your OOP

$2.35 get back 4 = 1.65 mm 70% of your OOP

The latter is the better deal taking into account the CATS....

Guess you could do the buy 3 - get the $2 cat - turn around and roll into the buy 5 get the $4 cat and have a lower OOP.
