As far as telling everyone -all cashiers there is a problem...that would mean they have to catch every employee when they start thier shift, and make sure they get every employee, they don't all work every day and they don't always start at teh same time. Plus some of them don't pay attention, or even care. Making sure every employee reads and then to make sure they understand????You're expecting way too much of a barely minimum wage employees.

Wow...wonder if it's the same FLO at my store? She wouldn't have done that for me...well she might have but not happily.

UUMMM, you are from Charlotte stores, is anyone from anywhere other than Winston having problems?

I am in Fayetteville and I had a problem with our store yesterday too. I tried getting 3 mentos gum along with some other stuff. Of the three "free" items the Mentos gum did not double/triple but the Glass plus and Spray and Wash did triple.

We called the manager and he said it's "THREE OF THE SAME COUPONS PER DAY". OK Mr. Hotshot I was only buying three mentos gum (same variety) and this was my first trip! So now what?

Went to CS to see if she knew what was going on and she didn't. She gave me a new card and said for me to try that one. I tried using the new card and the Mentos Gum still did not triple. The cashier tried using the store card and it still did not triple.

I had no problems with my other stuff.

That was really frustrating. I hope they get these glitches out in time for the next triples or else I might be sitting that one out.

I'm in Holly Springs, NC and had an issue yesterday. Who knows hopefully they will fix it before next triples.

I need to clarify that statement. You will still be able to use as many coupons as you want but you will only be allowed 20 coupons to double/triple. There have been occasions that I have miscounted and used more that 20 coupons and the system would let it go but from here on out it will only allow 20 total. If you have 100 items you will be able to use 100 coupons but as stated before only 20 will double/triple. I personally do not jump from store to store because I LOVE my Harris Teeter people but they are having issues with people going from one store to another maxing out their coupons at each store. I guess this is more focused on those cities that have more than one Harris Teeter. So what this means is if you have 20 coupons that you want to double/triple then you should give them to your cashier first and then your $1 and above coupons last. This will ensure your first 20 coupons will double/triple. This system will be based on home addresses linked to your VIC cards. Keep your eyes out for new coupon policies!

It must be that they are going to limit people to one visit per day.

Ok, this is speaking from clothing/general retail (2 different stores) and not grocery, but this is not really that hard. Not everyone begins at the same time, but people generally start in shifts that overlap. When we came on shift at both stores, we were required to have a short group meeting with the manager on duty so that they could cover any important info for the day and get assignments. And at least one of those was at a store that had little-to-no emphasis on good customer service. At the very least, cashiers should have to check in with a manager to figure out which register they're on. Not really related to the issue, just commenting.

Guess it's a good thing I skipped HT yesterday...

Did one trip today and everything tripled normally - I only use 13 coupons though. I just made sure I watched very closely. I'm tempted to go back later and use another 7 and see what happens but I don't want to drag DS back with me.

My Flo likes me, and pretty much just scans whatever Q I give her. It is always nice when a few cashiers actually like me!
