On Saturday it was the Yogurt Q that wouldn't triple. I brought up to the manager that the q didn't triple and he made a big deal about making sure it wasn't causing overage (it wasn't). Took me 8 minutes waiting for him to do the math before he would triple those q's.

Today it was the Mahatma Rice $.50 cent q's. Didnt even double and I only had 11 things on that order.

What I am wondering is... {I am sorta shy} Do a lot of you guys go in and get your money back? In this case it is $3, which isn't a lot, but it is kinda.

I am not particularly outgoing either, but I ask for my money. I figure since I am following the rules, there is no reason for me to be ashamed or embarrassed.

There is no reason to take it out on a customer.

I was on the phone with Corp. before I left the parking lot. The store manager called me tonight and apologized for everything and told me he would speak to the CS person. Who knows? As far as he coupons not doubling because it would be free I used others that would have made the product free and they didn't beep. Hopefully some good will come of it.

QUESTION Re: Card cutting off

Thank you all for your posts. At least I know now I am not alone or going crazy. This is helping to narrow this down. I do think it may have something to do with the items on sale that would give overage. Funny though, why would they change that when their registers have not given overage for quite some time?!:shrug7:

UUMMM, you are from Charlotte stores, is anyone from anywhere other than Winston having problems?

Also, Uummm, do all the stores receipts work the same for the u-scan mq on one line and then sc multi q below? Or is that just unique to your "special" not-giving-you-a-hard-time-registers in Charlotte? I guess this is sort of evening up the odds over all the hard time you have been getting from the LF registers!

On one of my boards in Charlotte I am seeing people having issues as of today.

I am in Gastonia (just outside of Charlotte)and did not experience any issues today using 19. I can't say I had any free items but I did use 3 yakisoba coupons on 5 which made my total .09 with tax. I also broke those 19 up between 3 trips (which is within the rules but I've heard you're only going to be allowed 1 trip per day...not sure if that's the truth yet)

If it was the .60/6 Dannon than it was the coupon not the register - there has been a problem with that coupon.

Yes I do ask for my money back too. No need to be shy!

Gld you got this taken care of.

I'm going to shop this am and see what my exprience is. I am in CLT though so I know I will most likely encounter problems.

The same thing happened to me at the Rogers Rd. HT in Wake Forest. I only had about 10 items total and used 6 coupons since most of the "good" stuff was already sold out. The first 3 coupons doubled and the last 3 did not. I hadn't looked at the coupons very closely because I had my two little boys with me and just assumed they were do not doubles. After closer examination this morning, I realize now that they should have trippled.

If they are working on their system to have the card limit the doubling. OK, but you gotta expect glitches. Why not inform all managers and cashiers to expect some problems. This would or should help with frustration over customer's qs not doubling. Employee frustration is then transferred to customers. Where the heck has CS in America gone?!!

I used to be "oh well" when I would be overcharged or they missed a coupon...NOT ANYMORE! One thing mystery shopping and all this shopping experience has taught me is Squeaky wheel gets the oil. If I have a problem I am speaking up, it is MY MONEY. And as far as if they miss a coupon or not, that is money they will be reimbursed for (not the double or triple) and if a coupon doesn't double or triple I ask for my money because that is their deal they have going on and I should get it too.

My issue in the past has been more of an issue of couopns not being scanned, or they were missed somehow and it seems to really happen at one store more than the others I go to. Twice in the past 2 triples I have had to take my stack of coupons after paying, go to CS and go over my receipt and figure out which ones were missed (usually because a coupon beeped and required input and the cashier didn't catch it). I have no problem doing this anymore. Like I said it is MY money, my husband works hard for that money and it is my job to spend/save it.

loveitmom, I know one store I go to has the old uscan registers but I can't remember if theirs ring up different or not on the receipt. I also know that at a different store I go to it doesn't matter when my vic card is scanned when the reciept is printed it shows the sale item right under the scanned item (instead of at the end seperate from when the item was scanned). It seems like most times when a coupon is scanned it shows it doubling on the next line.
