QUESTION Is this always true? You still get the VIC savings when using a RC

I have been using RCs on Huggies wipes this triples (6 per day - 3 natural care and 3 extra sensitive) for $2.50. Well they are also on sale this triples for $2.89, or $.40 off the regular $3.29 price. Well, when I use my RCs they ring up for $2.50 and then the computer takes off the VIC savings of $.40 as well; so I am getting them for $2.10 - .75 coupon of course (So I am getting them for free AC instead of the $.25 I was expecting to pay).

Does this always happen? I am just wondering if we should wait to use our RCs until the product is on sale again and "double dip" per say in the VIC savings. But I don't know if it is a fluke this time or always works this way.

If it always works, this way, I would like to go ahead and cash in on my CapriSun RCs this week because they are on sale again. They would be almost free with $1.00 coupon, RC and the computer taking off the VIC savings from this weeks sale.

Any thoughts....

Wow I've never considered it. I guess I'll get some rainchecks for them and wait and hope for another sale.....

Okay, since no one knows, I think I will have to figure out a different product I have a RC for and buy it when it is on sale and see if it works. I thought someone else might know already...

I do know that if you get a BOGO raincheck, and then it goes on sale, you will get the BOGO on the sale price.
If something is 4.00 regular price and you get a BOGO rc, it would be 2.00.
If it goes on sale for 3.00, then you will get BOGO on 3.00.
That is how it has always worked for me anyway.

I have found this to be true and I love to redeem the BOGO rainchecks when the item goes on sale.

It makes sense for a regular sale item as well. The computer is just reading the barcode and taking off the additional $$.

I redeemed the same rain check for Huggies during last triples and I don't think I got the extra VIC savings.....I thought it was on sale then too but maybe not?? I assumed the price just got voided out since they had to manual enter the RC info. Hmmm, I like hearing that about BOGO rainchecks. Something I need to remember!

I wish I had a raincheck to use so I could test out your theory. Let us know if anyone else finds it to be true!!

I redeemed the 2/$5 Huggies RC last triples too. I think they were full price though. I need to go back to the old triples thread and check.

Jen, you're right, they were not on sale last time. So you just got the raincheck $2.50 price since they were full price during that triples.
