Harris Teeter ~ Question help, newbie's new question

I was wondering if I buy two vitamine 10 water
can I use one 50 cents off and one BOGO coupon/
Today I was trying to use the coupons this way, but the BOGO doesn't seem to work. The register doesn't take any amount off, nor does it prompt the cashier to enter the amount. Can anybody shed some light on me? Thanks.

You can use 1 coupon per product so yes in theory you could buy 2 Vitamin Waters and use 1 .50/1 and a BOGO coupon.

I'm not sure why the BOGO didn't work. It sounds like the way it was coded. The cashier should have called the customer service person over and they should have manually entered it.

This is a YMMV. I tried to use a B1G1 free Magic Eraser Q and a .75 MQ yesterday and it was a no go. Which made no sense to me considering if HT puts something B1G1 I could have used the .75 MQ on the 2nd one. Oh well, will try again later in the week.

What order are you giving them the coupons? That might make a difference too. I would think you need to give the bogo first then the cents off because once it triples past the total of the items purchased then it won't take them. That is EXACTLY what happened to me yesterday. I purchased 3 items for $2.23 total, and my first coupon was for $.50 and wouldn't let me use my $.75 Q next-but when the $.75 Q went first I was allowed (by the register) to use the $.50...

I gave them the B1G1 free first. Then the .75 MQ beeped.

I don't know about HT, but I had this problem at Kroger and no amount of arguing would let the manager see it my way- he said the bogo was applicable for both items and I could not use two coupons on two item. grr.
