Heads up on Synder's and $2 off beef..rant

Valerie I don't know why they can't adjust it down but I was so disappointed about it. I have alot of the coupons left to use. But it seems my store keeps changing the rules about coupon usage. They are so strict so I have to be very careful about what I buy. Hopefully another store in my area (LF or FL) will have a them on sale soon.

According to their coupon policy they should have taken it....
....We double up to three identical items with manufacturer coupon; additional coupons for like item will be honored at face value....

I have policy printed and ready....since I bought 3 (2 chips and 1 pretzel) the last should have been given at face value $2....

I did have the $2 at the end but the cashier dropped the stack and so it all got messed up.

That EXACT thing happened to me yesterday. I had 1 dressing and 1 coupon and the cashier was like "You have to get a second dressing because it is Buy 1 Get 1 Free". I was like, what!?!? I dont want another dressing! It rang up at half price. Luckily the manager that is super nice saw us arguing over the coupon and came over and pushed it through.

Oh, and the cashier scanned through my coupons to make sure I didnt have any that say "Do Not Double". What if I did??? Are they going to tell me I cannot use them? Not even at face value? Ridiculous.

I honestly don't understand why they are all of a sudden being so inconsiderate of couponers!!! It's as if they are trying to deter us from shopping their store. I just don't get it!

And OP, I feel your pain. I am sure I know which cashier you are talking about. There are 2 guys up there that I want to smack sometimes. They think they are God's gift and know it all. Sorry you had to deal with that. If I had not been on vacation I would have run into you! Missed you!

when I have a "$x off xxx wyb xxx" I have started holding them until they scan all my other coupons. because they always seem to beep. and that way my other coupons are already scanned through and no problems with them. yes they still beep but it's easier to argue that it's for the beef or meat or produce or whatever. kwim/ hope that helps anyone, even though they will probably beep reguardless
