Harris Teeter ~ Question: any truth to the rumor that HT may triple once a month?

They also seem to really be trying to enforce the rules too...My store had signs up saying you couldn't do mulitple orders and I know they seem to be re-educating the cashiers about the rules. Not that I have a problem with that, I am just stating what I am being told by my favorite cashier.

I do just fine following the rules so I will gladly take triples once a month. It makes missing a triples or wanting to sit out a lot easier when you know in 4-5 weeks it will come around again.

I have heard that from more than one source. Let's cross our fingers. This is the third month in a row...we will see.

Yep they've been tripling monthly for several months now - we all assume that it's in response to the economy (needing to pull in more customers) and also in response to the fact that Bloom grocery stores started tripling monthly out of the blue late last year.

I talked to the stock manager tonight at HT. He informed me that he received a e-mail from corporate that says all triple events will be monthly and always a week long. So it's shop until I drop once a month.

Also if you happen to be near Bloom, you have triples 2 times a month and then it is easy to forget that Bi-Lo and Lowes have stopped.

I heard today from my favorite CS person that Starting Wed. the computers are going to enforce the 20 coupons per day rule. You won't be able to do multiple transactions. (I didn't know you could do it before, but this is what she said) She said up until now the computers let you do 5 transactions per day per card. Gosh nobody told me this. I really try to follow the rules because I don't want to jinx a good thing. But she did add that they are doing it monthly and for the whole week each time.

I will be on vacation where there is a HT. Does anyone know if they will be tripling the week of June 7-13 or June 14-20? Does the ad follow Sunday-Sat?
