You're right about that cause I ended up spending $19 cause I found bacon and create a sandwhich kits on sale. Never would find those kits for $.99/2 anywhere else and finding bacon under $2 to me is a good deal!! Granted I spent more then I planned (they missed $2 Q so I'll get that on my next trip), but I won't have to buy bacon for a couple of months and my husband has lunch for 2 1/2 weeks.
And don't get me started on the milk!! I'm so happy they ran that free milk when you buy cereal!! I haven't bought milk for 2 months btwn HT and FF stores! Oh and eggs too!! I love coupons!!![]()
Thank you to the Queen for leaving her mark!!
Ok, well, I have to laugh at all these posts! I once was the shopper who just bought groceries and didn't worry about coupons. I would be happy if I brought one coupon to the store to use!!! :) Well, things changed in my household and out of necessity I have learned how to save. It really humbled me to how much money I have wasted over the years and how much others are wasting...
But even funnier, last Wed, my mom went in for surgery. I was asking the nurse how long before she was out and went into recovery. Nurse said an hour or so...and i asked if I could go across the street to HT since it was triples. She said she was going to avoid go THERE since it was triples, "you know, with all those women with 3 ring binders in the store"...at which point I pulled mine out and said "you mean like this" :) She grimaced and asked me how come some women would by 30 containers of fried onions???? So I gave a quick HCW lesson on overages (which HT doesn't do anymore) and how saving goes...don't know if it will make her a believer, but hopefully a little more tolerant of "us ladies with 3 ring binders"
Thanks HCW and all the couponers I meet in the store, especially the gentleman last week who gave me 3 of his Texas Toast coupons since he got as many as he needed!!!
:hectic1:This is how I feel most days...
