Has anyone else combined a Buy2Get3 Free deal with coupons this week?

i think the thing that messes things up the most is they say in the ad the the first ones ring up full price and the rest free, but I think they all ring up at like .70 each. I can't say for sure, but I know the ball parks rang up that way (.98 each that is) so that would pretty much match the amount of your coupon .55+.17=.72 (so close on the actual price)

In my (fairly limited) experience:
-buy 1 get 1 free sales ring up half price
-buy 1 get 2 free sales ring up 1/3 price
-buy 2 get 3 free sales ring up with 2 at regular price and 3 free

I bought the old orchard juice today. My receipt reads:

2 @ 3.29 old orchard 6.58
3 @ 3.29 old orchard 9.87
SC VIC savings 3.29-B
SC VIC savings 3.29-B
SC 9371 VIC savings 3.29-B
PRICE YOU PAY FOR 3 FREE

Although, I will say that the other items on the receipt from this store read differently than the same items that I bought at other stores. For example, each item in the GM promo has an extra -.40 VIC savings underneath, in addition to the sale price VIC savings. Looks like:

BC cookie mix PC 2.19 B
VIC savings .40-B
VIC savings .52-B
PRICE YOU PAY 1.27

At other stores I went to, they just took off 4.00 total at the bottom. So maybe it varies by store? :shrug7:

Good point. How does the receipt read?

The reciept rings 4 at full price and the 6 are at full price and then removed with the VIC savings saying total price for 6 is free.

So, I don't know why it would ring this way and then not allow the full double....I am really perplexed by this one:shrug7:
