Harris Teeter - Coupon Policy

It has not be added back on to the policy. I'd bring a copy to your store! Or point to the one they probably have hanging up somewhere/

As for the 20 coupons - they are strictly enforcing this BUT if you want 20 coupons to triple/super double they will and the others will be accepted at face value.

In the event of triple coupons, up to 20 coupons will be tripled per day per customer/household with VIC card; all others redeemed at face value. No orders may be separated that would allow the 20 coupon limit to be exceeded.

I have read the triple/super double rule will reset at midnight so you could do a trip at 11:55 pm and then one at 12:01 am but I can't personally confirm this.

I'm aware of what the policy on the wall/site says, my post was in reference that my store that I have never ONCE had a problem with, and have very good relationships with the crew, gave me several comments independent from each other this past week about a memo that came down Wednesday morning from the home office. I do believe it's credible information until corporate says otherwise. As it is, my IPs did multiply as always, because they, like always have no way to do it automatically. The rest was not a concern as I was not in violation of the limit, I was upset by the way the memo made the staff so nervous to help me.

I went today, and was told that there were only 2 IP's per order... so I told them to void the other stuff. What's the point if they aren't going to follow their policy. Too bad it was the manager that said only 2 IP's.

No - the ones from HT start with "99" so they will not double/triple. The ones from Bloom/Food Lion start with "5" and have doubled for me.

Question... not sure where to post this. I was HT earlier and trouble with one coupon doubling (it began with a 9) so i knew that is why it didnt double. I told that to the lady at customer service desk - she didnt know that. Anyhow, I told her i had trouble with the same coupon the day before at another HT. She asked me had it been 24 hours since I used my coupons - because unless it was 24 hours or more = they wouldnt double (all my other coupons with the order doubled - it was because of the "9" on the coupon. i thought each day you can go in with your 20 coupons. Has anyone heard this 24 hour thing she said?

Do this long enough and you will learn that in lots of cases you know more than the employees about coupon usage/policies. They aren't told WHY things don't work they are told to look at the screen or ask for someone to fix it. I look at it like this in most cases THEY ARE NOT PAID TO CARE.

Nope... definitely not 24 hours. I went to HT on Wednesday and checked out around 11pm and on Thursday I checked out around 8pm. Both doubled as usual. Only small problem was the Mayfield that did not double but that was taken care of.

If your coupon starts with a 9, it won't double. Do check your coupon and see if it says Do Not Double anywhere in the fine prints or top of the coupon. If not, then you can always request for them to double it for you. However, it depends on the store too. But if it says DND, then they will use that as the reason why your coupon won't double.
