Old policy was they wouldn't double or triple internet printables.
This is the reason why as a consumer it is in your best interests to know the rules inside-out/upside down, even the cashiers are clueless.

It pays to stay informed and pay attention.

Personally, I have been buying the Olay 2pk bars of soap and I keep getting them for free. For FOUR days now I have gotten 1 pack of soap and the shelf tag says $2.99, however they are charging me $3.18 (this is ONLY at one store that I have seen). I go to CS and I get my refund because of the scan right policy. Well for 2 of the 3 days prior to today it was the same CS person. Yesterday I saw/heard her say to another employee (that was NOT a cashier) "YOU need to fix this, it is priced wrong on the shelf."

Don't you know, I go back in today and it STILL is not fixed. So I get another thing of soap and I get my money back. The CS person today said something to the person who was my CS person yesterday, and I told her that I heard her tell the guy to fix it. I told her, if you want it corrected you are going to have to do it yourself.

Also I was talking with one CS person, apparently I am one of the few that actually pay attention to the receipt and the shelf tags.

I went across the street to Food Lion, same thing there, they had eggs marked $1.69 but they charged me $1.89...of course there is not scan right policy. Probably because they would loose so much money. I am constantly finding shelf tags that don't match the amount I was charged.

I love the scan right guarantee. I'm always checking shelf tags - usually on every third trip I'll get a freebie!

Harris Teeter - Coupon Policy

I'm not seeing on here where it says that IP's will now double/triple. I did two triples shopping trips this past weekend, once my IP's tripled, and once I was told by a manager that they would not (she didn't even try them). I thought that they policy had changed based on discussion I had seen on here, so I came to check out the policy and the link above to HT's official policy doesn't seem to say that IP's are now doubling/tripling. Please let me know if I'm missing it!

The manager who checked me out was one who I'm pretty sure has been wrong on policy before- she once wouldn't let me use more than 3 $2/1 q's when the policy states that only 3 will double she insisted that that meant only 3 of any q. I even showed her a print out of the policy that time but she still wasn't convinced! I would like to have evidence of the new doubling of IP's to show as well!

Btw....I didn't *try* to check out with this manager to begin with, I was with a teenager (best cashiers!!) and she came and took over for the teen to go on break halfway through my transaction!!!

The biggest problem I had during this last event was with the coupons that say DO NOT DOUBLE or not Subject to Doubling. They pulled them to the side and tried to override them to scan without tripling. I convinced a few to try scanning them and see if they would work, but a couple I had to have those items voided off. What kills me, the rules are supposed to be same during tripling or doubling, but during tripling they give the coupons more looks. The same coupons before, with the same cashiers even, scan with no problems and they don't question it. But hey, come triples time, they have to spend forever giving me excuses of why a coupon won't triple, even though they won't try to scan it.

Although it does not say they will double/triple Internet Coupons
before it specifically said they WOULD NOT double/triple internet coupons.

IPs are manufacturers coupons....so...

We double manufacturer’s coupons up to face value of $0.99; with total amount not to exceed $1.98 or entire retail of item; whichever is less.

That should apply to IPs.

If your food lion is that bad, especially on staples like eggs, contact your local weights and measures department. They might be interested in this.
