Harris Teeter clearance deals and tearpad, winetags, blinkies etc found in store

Does anyone feel quilty removing the wine tags without purchasing the wine? I justify it to myself by saying the terms are NWPR :) I always worry that someone will say something.

Im new to the whole wine tag/MIR thing.

I found the following winetags at HT this week:

Meridian Vineyards $2 on any cheese (there were lots of these)
The Little Penguin $1 salty snacks
Woodbridge $1 ham or turkey
Rosemount $1 ham

I also found 2 MIR:

Hogue Wines $5 on $5 chocolate
Mondavi Wines $5 on $5.05 turkey

I remember also seeing Wtags/MIR for Poinsettias, Firewood/logs and greeting cards.

I just found the motherload of tearpads at my HT. There was a display back by the dairy products that had at least 20 different tearpad coupons. Some of note were .75/2 Daisy, $1/2 Sargento, $1 Smart Balance 50/50 butter blend, $1/2 Kraft cheese, $2/4 Birdseye Steamfresh, $1/2 Jimmy Dean frozen breakfast products, $1/2 Lean Cuisine, .65/2 Sorrento, $1/2 Pillsbury frozen products
All expire 1/31/09

To be honest, I'm not sure LOL I saw the coupons and my eyes glazed over to everything else. ROFL It probably was though. I saw that someone found one at Lowes Foods, so it's probably the same.

yes, actually I do feel guilty about removing them although I still go down those aisles in every HT that I go into. Tonight my husband said, "ok, that's enough. You already have 3" I did make that my rule with any blinkie, tearpad or winetag. 3 at a time.... I rarely find good WTs. Tonight was the usual Cavit tag of 3 q's for butterball fresh or frozen turkey, knorr pasta or rice sides and the toblerone or cote d'or products. I got these because of the knorr q's. I can go back to Bloom tomorrow and get more FREE knorr pasta/rice sides. I got about 8 today and made up a grocery bag of free stuff for a coworker and the rest of the free ones I get, I'm putting in a box to give to the shelter for battered women. So, even though I'm not keeping most of the rice..it's still fun getting it FREE. I told my husband this morning that this couponing is like a sport for me. I love it

If you haven't already purchased all of the Excedrin that you'll ever need, the Excedrin Tension Headache 24ct are discounted to $1.44. So, if you use one of those $1/1 or $2/1 Qs floating around then you'd get the box for .44 or FREE. I thought that was a pretty good deal if you needed it. Also, in one HT I went into today, they had their drugstore circular but another HT I went into tonight did not. What's up with that? Anyway, the Blistex Medicated Lip Balm and Raspberry Lemon Blast are B1G1 through December 30th and the raspberry one was marked down to .99 and use the .25 Q and you'll get 2 of them for 50. It looked like regular price was $1.99. But this is another decent deal if you're in need of Blistex. Also, if you haven't already filled your house with Duracell batteries from CVS' ridiculous deal a couple of weeks ago, then HT has their Energizer 4pk AA, AAA and 2pk C2 and D2 and 1pk 9v on sale for 5/$10. Combine this with the .50 Qs that exprire on 12/31/08 or the $1 Q that expires on 12/15/08, then you'll get each of these packs for $1. Pretty good deal for quality batteries. Although, we didn't need them, I still went ahead and picked up 2 packs. I just couldn't let that deal stay in the store. Anyway, again the drugstore deals are through 12/30/08

I was in Ht yesterday doing my trip for triples and I came across a cardboard (Ithink it was a pinguin) display that had lots of different tearpads on it (20 or more)! they are not the greatest coupons I have come across but they may be a good deal eventually. they all expire on 1/31/09. these coupons are light blue in color. I only grabbed a few different kinds but the ones I got were:

$1/2 jimmy dean frozen breakfast (including breakfast bowls, omelets, skillets or entrees; excluding breakfast sandwiches)
$1/1 sara lee bites, cheesecake or pound cake
$1/2 pillsbury frozen products
.65/2 any sorrento products
there were others for jimmy dean and pillsbury and there were tearpads missing so I don't know what else there were

this was located in the freezer section, near the icecream
I shop at the HT in Denver, NC
I will check tomorrow when I go, to see if the tearpads were replenished
