i have a silly question...i AM getting bolder with my couponing ( i just snagged about 20 poptarts blinkies at HT yesterday), but do you guys just take the peelies and winetags off the products, or do you actually buy the things they are attached to?

I think of it as a savings opportunity lol. and I don't always purchase the product that the peelie is on. but on the poptart blinkies, the ones from HT will NOT double or triple, because the barcode starts with a 9. they will work at LF from what others tell me. but to get the good blinkies that are under $1 value you need to go to Food Lion, because all of the blinkies there start with a 5.

I will take 2-5 according to how many blinkies, peelies or winetags are offered on that particular product. I would NEVER EVER EVER take all of them. I know how it feels when the blinkie machine is out of Q's, etc. and I use that product and could have really put the Q to use. To each their own but Coupon Karma can bite ya back.

im pretty new at couponing but I feel it is wrong to take the peelies without buying the product at that time. companies seem to actually be fighting against this by putting fine print on the peelies stating the Q isn't valid unless removed by cashier or by making the Q part of the label (like the betty crocker frosting)

anyways, thats just how i feel, not putting anyone who takes peelies down.

I've noticed a lot of peelies saying "THIS product" or something similar, so I don't touch them either unless I want it. I just assume that it won't scan unless I buy it when it says that. :shrug7:

A few weeks ago, I found peelies for Kraft cheese, but they were all stuck on Triscuit boxes. Nowhere on the peelie did it say I had to buy a Triscuit box to redeem the offer. Why these were stuck on the Triscuits and not on the cheese, I can't say (except for the fact that crackers go well with cheese). The peelie did say "one per transaction." So I took one, since I had already gone through the cheese aisle and had kraft cheese in my cart. I really don't see a problem with taking the peelie off the item in this case. I've seen plenty of items that have peelies for the product they are stuck on, and then, yes, I would not appreciate someone taking it off.

i found clearance priced no nonsense panty hose at HT today. $1.14 and use the $1/1 Q from 3/29 SS. 0.14 pantyhose. don't wear them often, but good to have in the drawer when i need 'em.

NOTE: I tried to buy them last night, but the manager on duty said that I could not use the coupon on a clearance item. So I took the coupons back and cancelled the razors from my order, because I know this was not true but was not going to argue with him. Today's manager adjusted them down for me, with a smile, no problems at all! It would sure be nice if they ALL knew the policies!
