I just have to ask why triples never go well for me? Someone please let me know if HT is out to get me. So I head over to my favorite 24 ht location in hopes of getting my triples done when the crowds are away...well to my supprise they are CLOSED! and the reason...Polishing the floors. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? the busiest 4 day stretch they have (aside from snow storms) and you close the store...and without any warning? Who's bone head decision was that. I CANT BELIEVE THAT REDICLOUS. I PLAN TO WRITE A HEATED E MAIL TO CORP.

CAN TRIPLES GO SMOOTHLY ONCE FOR ME...JUST ONCE? PLEASE?

I NEED A DRINK! (WHISKEY ANYONE?)

When would you like them to do the floors?

It is the stores fault, not the floor tech's.

This was probably scheduled a month ago.

It's the best time to do floors, at night.

There is so much more than polishing a floor.

Deep scrubbing, 3-4 coats of wax & buffing...and drying in betwen

My DH is a Floor Tech for the County Housing around where we live.

It sounds like a "stroke job", but It's actually very hard to get a floor looking good. Especially when ppl won't stop to go around, they'd rather walk rt through.

Just giving ya some facts.

I am so sorry! How frustrating. I agree they should have chosen a more convenient night. They know the volume they pull during triples. I'll have a drink with you! Except it will have to be Captain Morgan. Today will be a better day!

I don't think the OP is blaming the floor tech, as a matter of fact there is NO mention of a floor tech. It sounds to me like you are a bit sensitive about the subject. I think he/she is just venting, Just about the timing. So not to be rude but if it were YOU showing up to do your deals, I imagine you would feel they same. Sometimes people are just looking for a bit of compassion... not FACTS.

I am pretty good friends with a Floor Monitor (white shirt worker) and she said she had heard rumors of triples, which I had read it on here a few days before that. I went home that day and read it had just been confirmed. Well I went back a few days later and made a comment about Triples and she said "Oh I don't know."
I said "Well it is going to be Sept 18-21st"
She said "I know, we just aren't allowed to say anything."

So my guess is that of course workers let it slip, but I think that they aren't really supposed to be saying anything.

That stinks indeed. I know our 24hr Walmart never closed to do the floor just roped off sections and put the meanest cashier in charge of keeping people out. Ticked me off on more than one occassion.

I am sorry. I remember a long time ago I was in a 24 hour HT at about 11 pm and I was just looking around when over the intercom someone said "attention shoppers, we will be closed from 11pm - 2am please make your final selections yadda yadda yadda". I remember at the time laughing and wondering how a 24 hour store can close. I do realize that they have to clean, but I just thought it was funny.

Sorry that it screwed up your triples though.
