Since triples have been confirmed I thought I would help out by providing thinks to the MOST commonly asked questions by newbies about triples.This way (if your new and read these LOL) you will have the answers. HTH

Another thing to point out is that the q's will only tripple up to the regular retail price. so if something is $1.50 and you have a .50 off q...the tripple will make it free. if its only $1.00 with a .50 off...you wont get overages.

however if an item is on sale... you can get overages for them with the Q.

example. Already posted is the colgate free after doubled Q's (2 for $3)

with the .75 off one q its free this week and next. But if you wait till tripples you will get .75 overages because the regular retail is more than 2.25 (.75 x 3)

last tripples windex was on sale for $2. with a .75 off q you got .25 overages becaue the regular retail is higher than the trippled coupon value.

This is a nice one though, because it says "Hey Newbies". It may catch the attention of people before entering the triples deals threads to ask a question that has been answered over and over. Plus if it were stickied even temporarily, it would be at the top, and may be seen by even more people.

I really don't like to go through the triples deal thread (that gets to be 20 pages long) reading questions like "Newbie here, this may have been answered before, but......" Ya know? It would be great to have a thread specifically for those questions. Especially if it is at the top, so lots of people can see it right off the bat.

It could always be "unstickied" after triples. Just a thought. Thanks for starting the thread!

If it says 'do not double' but starts w/ a 5, the register will automatically double/triple it anyway unless the cashier decides to put it in manually. If it starts w/ a 9, it will not double/triple at Harris Teeter.
