Total newbie to couponing. I have a Dixie Crystal coupon I got from a blinkie at Food Lion. But the coupon says no doubling or tripling, so I can't use it at Harris Teeter during that time for triples? Thanks so much for your help.

If the first number is a 5, it will double/triple. If the first number is a 9, it will not.

The computer will scan and double or triple any coupon that begins with a 5. It is up to the individual cashier if they will accept it or not. Most wont even notice the words. I have heard of a few that keep an eye out for those words and manually override the computer as it doubles/triples- but never experienced this first-hand. I've used TONs of these kinds of coupons with no problems. Again, YMMV (your mileage may vary).
