Harris Teeter ~ Good Deal Good Wheat Thin deal

I actually used the b2g1 free deal with getting the free cheese wyb 2 crackers and free wheat thins wyb ..

I would buy
12 wheat thins x 3.69 Used 12 Free Wherat thins wyb
6 Sociables or Triscuit x Free from store promotions
36 Koolaid Packets x .19= 6.84
9 CHeeses under a 4.99 = Free

then to make my order cheaper, added in 3 powerades which i used the .75 off 1 on.. i made 1.80 in overage there..

So i paid 6.84- 1.80= $5 plus taxes
and received 3 cat for cheeses and 2 cat for koolaid..

it was a great but stressful day... had to use all of those peelies.. I think i bought 60 boxes of nabisco crackers and have 30 packages of cheese.. maybe more.. i only had to argue twice with staff...

sounds like a good day... I am not as fortunate to have those free wyb Qs so i have to go with the 1.94 for 2 boxes...ill take it any day...

I'm impressed. I never have the guts to do stuff like that, I always fly under the radar. That is awesome! Good to know the cat deal is working.

well i would have flown under the radar but they were about to expire.. I have been busy all week from a move to NC from Michigan.. its been hectic and i went to a few harris teeters in my area so it wasnt all in one shot.. i wish it was all in one shot because i spent about an hour in two stores while they scrutinized my coupons.. they even brought out their billboard coupon policy trying to intimidate me.. even tried to say that i could only use 20 coupons a day.. " yeah for doubles but im not doubling anything".. one lady (assistant manager) did steal/ take/ hide my cat and i said nothing about it, just wanted to get out of the store.. probably send an email to harris teeter about that.. because they do have cameras and im wondering if $5 is worth it for someone to loss their job over.. the head manager of store the was very nice about it and got everything thru.. i will definitely write about his patience and listening to both sides.. while the assistant manager wanted me not to get this deal..

I had four staff employees surrounding this incident.. the original cashier was neutral, didnt care what happened, the assistant manager and customer service lady were against the deal because they were confused and need to reread coupon policy, and the head manager did everything he could while the other two were throwing in random jibberish about something not bein right..

I had a headache by the time i was done.. i dont want to look at crackers again.. only thing i did like was i was able to get tricuit, sociables and beddar cheddar instead of just wheat thins because of the b2g1 sale..
another good thing is this is the farthest away harris teeter.. the closet harris teeter to me is awesome and the cashiers just ring everything up.. no questions asked and they wanted to know how i do so well..

HT's number one thing is customer service. I would defintely praise the manager in your email/call to coporate and say something about the assistant manager taking your cat. That is not right and she should be repremanded and made to write out the coupon policy 100 times so she has it memorized.

Welcome to NC! I will say I NEVER have problems with coupons at HT - no Food Lion that is a different story.
