It is 3.99. I bought mine this morning and they had the Cesar kit and a pear gorgonzola dressing kit. I had to dig in the back to find one that had lettuce that looked fresh though. For the amount of salad in there I would NEVER pay full price for it but for .99 I'll take it!

I just tried to get the pepercorn caesar kit and it still rang up for $3.99. I returned it before I left the store since I agree, worth a try for 99 cents but not worth it for the full price.

What did I do wrong?

It just doesn't work sometimes, I don't know why. I just stop by cs and get it refunded, I've never had a problem.
Are there different sizes? Did you get the one with the proper upc code?

I only saw one size but forgot to bring the UPC code so maybe it was the wrong one. CS was very nice about it. I am new to HT shopping so wondered if there was a trick I had not learned yet!

I still saved $45 and spent only $10 so feel pretty good about the purchases I did get!

You did great, Laurie! You will grow to LOVE HT shopping....I do! With eVic deals, watch the screen when they are scanning. It will show the full price, then immediately after that, the deduction (in this case, -$3) will come off. If it does not, mention it right then to the cashier. I always print off the sheet with the eVic promo listed that shows all the UPC's, so they can verify that I bought the right thing, just in case. I've actually never had a problem with the eVic coming off, but I know others on here have. And yes, CS is great at HT.
