For instance, is an overage going to be applied as a general rule or is that a fluke occurence?
My cashier last time put the coups in by hand and only gave me like 1.00 off everything. I was UPSET, cause I had saved all those .75 and up coupons. But, I thought it was just their rule.
Boy I am so GREEN at this!
OH, and THANKS for the link!!!
It will only triple up to the regular price. So if you get something that is regular .99 with a .75 coupon you are only going to get it for free.

It is my understanding that this is true for regularly priced items. For sale items, however, they will give overage. That is, they will allow overage as long as your final total is a positive amount.
Even though we'll be getting good condiment sales, if you have some Qs I'd get the mustard. It's not a bad price with the 30¢/1 or 50¢/1 - then again my family goes through it quickly.
I rarely stockpile things I don't want unless it's a mega big money maker.
Stockpile things you will use that have a long shelf life. Like:
Uncle Ben's Rice
Duke Mayonnaise
L'oreal Kids Shampoo
Viva Paper Towels
McCormick Grill Mates
Eggo Waffles or Whatever
Tic Tacs
Betty Crocker Frosting (there's peelies and Qs out, but I think the insert Q expires tomorrow)
Barilla Whole Wheat Pasta
Nestle Nesquick Syrup
Domino Sugar
Keep in mind all the other couponers in your area will be thinking the same thing, though. :) By the time I got to the store Thursday at 4PM, all the sugar was gone!
Hopefully I listed only things that will be on sale through next week. I just did triples so going by what I did.

Yes that is right--it triples up to the regular price so there is only overage if it's on sale. I was just trying to explain why she may not have gotten overage.
Is this at all HT and do they advertise when it will be or just automatically do it all of the time if the bar code starts with a 5?
Welcome to the board! You can find most of the answers to your questions about Harris Teeter in the stickies at the top of the board.
I'm not sure what you're asking here, but Harris Teeter will double all the time and they have special triple promotions every 3-4 months.
In the "Tips for Triples" thread, you mention rainchecks. If an item I want is out of stock, can I get a raincheck that will allow me to triple a coupon for the item when it comes back in stock, or am I out of luck? Thanks!
