Default less messy easter egg dying

i was looking for a product review category, but this will have to do:

dudley has a new "rainbow" easter egg dying kit. it was GREAT. individual "baggies" that you put a boiled egg into, then sprinkle a few drops of several colors and squish/wiggle. i have a 6, 5 and 2 1/2 year old. there was very little mess as i was the one who was putting the dye into the bags; they were just doing the squishing. AND the eggs turn out very pretty/marbelized. oh, it comes with a non-color crayon for decorating prior to dying. we did flowers, cars, letters, names and polka dots.

frugal tip: use baggies and the food dye in your cupboard instead of buying the kit. (less messy, too, as the kit has little soy sauce like packages.)

older kids could do the squeezin' too.

i have to remember this one for next year. thanks dudley!!
