I don't, but some people do and will get hugely offended if they aren't addressed in the way they deem correct. I have found this out the hard way.

My grandmother, I was speaking to her yesterday and she told me about a card she got from her sister Betty.
    My grandmother was so mad.
It was just a Christmas Card picture type card. Picture on the front flip it over and it says Merry Christmas and then they had their name printed on it and my grandmother was so mad that she threw the card away. "If someone can't take the time to sign my card, they have no business sending me a Christmas Card"

    LOL

I would never send out a card that I didn't sign myself. I do get some of those pre-printed cards during the holidays, though, and its not a big deal that they didn't sign it themselves.

If people get easily offended by a card (I've had this happen twice) I just cross them off my Christmas card list permanently. Some people can't be pleased no matter what. I know one lady who only wants Hallmark-brand greeting cards sent to her, and another one who insists that you write out all her children's names on the outside envelope. Neither one of these people gets a card from me anymore! I won't waste my time or postage on them.

LOL...Old people get so crotchety about the dumbest things. She sent her a card, didn't she? Sheesh.

Sounds like something my grandmother would say. My mother will eventually follow suit. I've told my DH that if I ever get crotchety, it's time to just turn the TV up really loud and pretend I'm not there.

Okay there is proper etiquete with Wedding invitations, to a slightly lesser degree bridal shower and baby shower.

It is improper for anyone to expect a brand of Greeting cards or children's name is pathetic..

I'd take them off my list too...

Or just for spite I'd sent them the wrong card (find the cheapest one) every dang year and write out just the address

Is it a Christmas Card for the "Hallmark Lady"? Send them a Kwanza one

Have I mentioned I'm not a nice person...

This year is the first year I've gotten any Christmas Cards. It doesn't matter that they are all from HCW members, they are cards and I have actual, real CARDS. Not one from the insurance agency or one for my dog. A real human being sent it to me

I wouldn't have minded if mine name was spelled wrong on all of them, I'd still put them out.
