Happy Solstice :) Did anyone catch the lunar eclipse last night? ~ 2010

Hubby woke me up at 1:30 am in hopes of catching the total eclipse of the moon. The last time we checked at 8 pm, the sky was clear and moon shining brightly but by early am the sky was covered with clouds though at least it was a balmy 67 Degrees. We pulled the car outside the garage, parked with the sunroof positioned underneath the moon and reclined our seats; had to wait long time for breaks in the clouds. It wasn't as Orange as I thought but it was cool to see the moon getting increasingly darker with an Amber tinge.

Happy solstice to you as well, Hina. There was no seeing the eclipse here last night, it snowed and was very cloudy all night. I wish we could have seen it!

I fell asleep, but hubby woke me up just in time to see the very last bit of light disappear. Too cooL!

We stayed up with a fire and candles all night but it was cloudy during the eclipse :(
