If I remember right, CVS had plastic eggs for free after ECB's last year before Easter. I have not checked the CVS thread this year though. Maybe they are doing it again.![]()
I'm planning an Easter hunt and will need hundreds of eggs. Looking for the best price for eggs. So far the best I have found is 42 for $2 at Walmart. Anyone know of any better deals than that? I'm also looking for some items to put in the eggs. Got a good deal on some Hershey kisses, stickers, and some little toys that were on clearance, but looking for more toys and candy (no unwrapped candy) ideas.

I just settled for the 42 pack for $2 at WalMart...but I didn't need anymore than that. I agree with rdot to watch the drugstores, they will most likely run some sort of deal on them. You should also be able to get candy and other Easter fillers pretty cheaply at the drugstores as well.
What about Dollar General or Big Lots or Family Dollar or the Dollar Tree? I don't know what they might have, but it might be worth checking out. Erasers might be cute to put in the eggs. I know Dollar Tree sometimes has bags of them with several in there.
Raising children(especially teens) is like being pecked to death by a chicken
In my defense, I will only bid human beings in the auction forum if it's a MM.
For candy ideas, Betty Crocker fruit snacks have been free in my area the past 2 weeks. There is a .50/2 coupon out that can double, and a cat deal for $3.50 oyno wyb 5. They have been $1 box, so ac and less oyno = free. If you have a Safeway or sister store, you may be able to score some of these. They don't fit in eggs, but are wrapped well enough to just toss in the yard. I'm stocking up on the 18 ct mini rolls to get the most # of items possible.
Thanks for all the suggestions. The best deal I found was a box at Walmart - 250 eggs for $8.50.
