What stores will you be hitting, what will you be looking for & what time are you planning on going out this year?

Walmart bath items and smell goods for guys. But not sure what time they start markdowns. I do most of my shopping for the next year that day.

I wanna hit Michaels ( if they have good mark downs ) as they have a few things I would like to get for my tree next year.

I will be hitting some clothing stores to look for good deals on winter clothes since I just moved from Florida to Virginia ( the frozen tundra ) & I have very very few winter clothes, shoes, etc.

I may hit a few stores like WalMart & Target to look for Mens gift sets & the like for next year ( have plenty of womens items ).

As for what I'm hitting- I'm with you on Michael's, I need tons of yarn. I'll also be hitting Joann's for fabric and thread, and maybe Target to see what's happening there.

I'm probably gonna check Target. I know I'd like some new lights for outside and maybe some other lighted outside decorations. Oh and some new red bows. The ones up now have taken a beaten with all the rain we've been having. Maybe some party supplies and check the toys for upcoming Birthdays.

Kroger in TX will have lights, decorations, toys, stuffed animals, wrap etc 50% off. Hallmark products never get marked down.

If it's red or green and it isn't a regular stock item ask for a price check.

Candy starts at 25% off and won't go to 50% until next year.

Gonna be checkin out Wal mart , for Christmas gift sets including the food sets and will hit it around 7ish as I will be out and about then anyway

I'll be at Target at 8:01 - need a little restock on the wrapping paper and bows and ribbons, also the snowman items that they have. I get a couple of new pieces each year. If they mark down the table linens I will probably grab some napkins to go with the table cloths I got this year.

I think I could do Michael's - I am supposed to be taking a crochet class.... julie, do they have Christmas yarn or something that might be marked down???? Cuz I will be all over that!

No, they don't have Christmas yarn, just all the different colors. I imagine there will be a good sale on it. If you lived near DC you could post in my forum AND I could teach you how to crochet (for free!)

I guess Im cheap 50% on the day after doesnt do it for me.

I will be going to Target in Jan when they take the left over toys to 75% though we have kid bdays jan, feb, mar and april

Id love to have some new ornaments and a new tree and wrapping paper but dont have the $$ and not fighting the crowds.
