Default 2010 New Year's Goals/Resolutions

So, it is that time of the year again. Time to start thinking about goals for 2010. I, for one, am looking forward to the end of 2009 - this has been a rough year for me.

Here are my personally-oriented goals:

1. Career: My goal for 2010 is to complete my post-doc (done in July 2010) and obtain my clinical license (take the test in March 2010). I recently went back to clinical work after doing research for many years. Secure a FT job with benefits, hopefully at my current place of employment.

2. Health: Start taking care of myself. Started this today with my baseline mammogram. Have doctor's appointments lined up for the new year. Going to start back at yoga - and work on being more physically active.

So what are your goals for 2010?

My goals for 2010:

**Lose 15lbs ( 30 would make me happier but I'll try to get to 15 first)
**Try to get my OOP expenses down to $25 per week-- for 2 of us I think it can be done-- but it will take some work, but I want to see if I can do it.
** Quit smoking-- it's so dang expensive, yet I am so dang addicted.
** Go to church more--- hot deals on Sunday mornings can't be my exuse any more.
** Say 'NO' more ~~ I don't have to be super-woman all the time.

That's all I can think of right now. :)

Well, I don't plan on doing any diets or eating healthier or exercising or anything like that. My chubby self is happy with a brownie in one hand and a piece of pizza in the other.

I do however want to work on paying off more of my debt. Five months with no job and being denied unemployment destroyed me because I was debt free prior to that. (except for my car)

Pray harder that my DH gets a job and that it will be permanent. I don't care about anything else at the moment....

Income taxes and savinss from loosing car payment
Pay off vehicle, get a new - used one
Pay off some debt have about $2000 worth
Have a savings account, I have one, but no savings in it.
Take a vacation next year.
Build our stockpile.

I would lke to gain about 15 pounds, but I have said that for 8+ years..
