any recomendations on the ove glove?!

since the holidays are approaching the oven is going to be used quite a lot. considering this, i always end up having the cheap .99 oven gloves but they are not well protectants because when it comes to doing the baking we always get burned or the pan gets to hot to handel so end up using an additional kitchen towel to help. so this year i am contemplating on purchasing an ove glove witch i have seen on infomercials and at cvs, and wags. so my question is does anyone own one and does it really work or does anyone recommend a diffrent kind of glove? help please!
