Looking for a cheap laptop

I'm looking for an HP mini. My son wants one to take to class with him, does anyone know of any deals coming up? I see the Aspire on sale, he was pretty specific about wanting an HP. Does anyone know how the Aspire compares to the HP? TIA

I bought one of the HP laptops that was on the "pre black friday sale" a couple weeks ago. It has a 15.6" screen and is a great pc for the money.
I work at home and have NO problems running my software while working. (customer support agent).
They will have more of these on Friday for $298. They also have an Emachine Laptop that is just a small bit slower for $198.
If I had not already bought this one, I would not hessistate to get the Emachine for that price. They are pretty good computers for the money.

Walmart now has everyone get in line for B/F items and you need to be very early to ensure you get your pc. I was 2 hrs early, was 5th in line and ALMOST missed out on the HP laptop. They only had 15 and they allowed people to buy 2 each. I got the 11th one!

I would NOT buy a netbook b/c for the same money you can have the FULL features of a notebook.
