I am looking for a wii for my kids for x-mas I found this deal on-line today, and was wondering if this is a good deal or do you think I would get a better deal if I wait till Black Friday? I think its an ok deal. I've never really seen a 'great' deal on them. I mean these bundles usually save between $20-50 than if you bought it separately. Not sure what the bonus game is on he deal you posted. But you can get the console, wii play, wii sports, 2 controllers and 1 nun-chuck in Amazon for $299.00.

** I just checked your link, i did several combinations and was coming up with $319, i also didn't see where the second controller (accessory) included a nun-chuck.

Let me know what you decide? I have been looking around too!! Target during the summer had the WII with a free remote. I asked a lady at Target if they will go on sale or have extra deals for the holiday, she said not sure? during the summer they still wer out of stock on them!

I don't know if it is a good deal, but here is my philosophy on black friday:

If you find a screaming deal on BF, the odds of it being sold out by the time you get there are pretty good. You could wait outside the store for an hour or more in the cold to be first in line, then fight your way through the crowds trying to not get trampled in the process. Is that really worth saving a few bucks? Then, if you don't manage to get one you may end up paying a lot more than the great deal you find today. If you think you have found a really good deal, grab it.

PS. a lot of people don't know this, but it is very common to find a better than black-friday deal on many things if you watch careful throughout the year. That has really been true for the last couple of years as the bf sales have gotten worse, but who knows what will happen this year.

I would buy it now. Keep the receipt and if you find it cheaper you can always return it.

I honestly don't think you will find it cheaper. If anything, the Wii will be difficult to find closer to Christmas.

I had this dilemna last year. I ended up buying it in September and I was SO GLAD I did. They never went on sale close to the holidays and even at regular price people were going crazy! I have been a Black Friday shopper for about 10 years and even I was scared of the WII people!

Last year some of the Wii games went on sale in early November but the console never did. Thats a good deal on Amazon and those are fun games. You get free shipping. Just do it. In November/late October alert the grandparents when the toy books come out and the new games, some fun Mario game, is out for $10 below retail. I got most of my good shopping done last year when the Target book came out and then on cyber Monday. And get them a Wii it is soooooo fun!! :)
