| Ideas For Gift Bags / Baskets For The Holidays ~ Post Yours Here ~ 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 For Christmas this year, I couldn't take my sister to the spa (which she loves - her and her daughters go every couple of months) - but know that is something she really likes - I made her a basket:
Pedicure creams and tools
A diagram for message therapy on the feet to rejuvinate the body
Chocolates, teas, and a mug
Scented Pillow
Bath salts, soaps, and lotions
She loved it (her girls too)
Every year my DH grandmother gets a basket of chocolates from us. She's 95 and what do you get someone that has all they want and aren't techno savy. She looks forward to the basket.
We have cookies, cakes and a plethera of chocolates from every maker imaginable. I start collecting them around October. One year the basket weight 28 lbs. No one else gives her that much because they know that we do.

| Re: Goodie Baskets For a toddler, you might make a "to go" container. I used one for my grandson with a qwillow which could be used as a pillow, blanket or in rough conditions, changing mat. I also had a couple small toys (fillers), snacks, juice boxes, thrift store books, and a leapfrog that I bought at a thrift store for $.99. It was very useful, and he liked it so well he'd ask to go running around with me. If we could figure naps for traveling time, he'd be good for 8-12 hours. |

| Re: Cheap Christmas Gift Ideas? I'm going to make gift baskets out of trial items & free items. I always get full sized or nice sized samples of stuff in the mail & i plan on using them. Like for a boy, I got a nice $10 razor in the mail, I'm going to mix a few other male hygiene products & give it to my cousin. I like to give practical gifts that people can use over & over.
