    HELP my first (pre)school Valentine's party! HELP ~ 2009

DS1 is in preschool this year, and yesterday brought home a note stating that each child is expected to bring Valentine cards for each of their classmates.

um. out of touch. where does one buy cute, maybe unique Valentine cards?

And what can I make/give to the teachers?
    Any ideas for stockpile usage?

This year I let DD pick out her own Valentine cards. She opted for a 32 ct box of Barbie cards at Walgreens for $1.99. There are some super-mom parents that send in little bags full of goodies too. As far as a teacher gift, I have 5 more big bags of M&Ms left over in my stockpile so we may be giving her one of those.

I work next to a flower shop and in the past I have had my child give his teacher flowers - but his teacher is male this year, so I think that is out!

I do think it is nice to give a little gift on Valentine's Day, but definitely optional, and I would make it something small. Most people like candles, candy, and/or coffee (except me).
