What Did Santa Bring You This Year?

My bf bought got me an older laptop [used] from a family friend, and a Hello Kitty [<3] bath robe. The laptop works well enough to check HCW forums, and play RuneScape, so I'm happy with that.
[We plan to buy 2 new computers later on when we're not so strapped for $.]

We also had a Secret Santa within his family. His sister, and her boyfriend got myself and Steven, lol. She bought me a necklace/earring set. The necklace has a charm with my initial [B] on it. She also bought me a watch. [much needed!]
He received from them, an aftershave/cologne set, and a pair of boxers.

I also got a lot of stuff from the therapist that I go see.
It's a not for profit organization, and every year around Christmas they help out the less fortunate. [I don't like calling myself that, but it's true.]
I received from them, 2 $25 Stop & Shop GC's [they're gone already]
$65 in Target cards. a $50 Chase Visa Card. a $25 Bob's GC [for clothes].
A winter coat. A nice windbreaker jumpsuit. A warm fleece jacket. A tank top & tons of stuff for my scrapbooks. [the scrapbook stuff alone is probably worth $50]


I also went back to Indiana to visit my family, and my daddy gave me $200 to buy some new clothes for myself, which I made out nicely but hitting the stores starting @ 4am, on black Friday!

My mommy bought me this huge fleece Hello Kitty blanket she found at a local town festival.


I bought my boyfriend a sterling silver necklace on sale for $20 [regular $75] but it's too small for him =(
I also bought him a DVD and an Ecko [brand] hoodie, but he didn't like that it had gems on it for decoration, so we returned it and had the refund put back onto my Visa GC, which will be more useful, even though I hated to return a present for him.

I'm very appreciative of the things I received.

After I came back from visiting my family, my boyfriend told me he had saved $400 for our computers, but instead, I convinced him that unlike last year, we should go all out for Christmas this year, and we did! I was very happy seeing everyone's expression when they received gifts from us.

from my boyfriend kids.. i got new pjs and first season of 90210 (lol)

from my sis.. i got a sweater, two silver rings, a basket of tastefully simple

from my boyfriend.. i got a movado watch, a diamond band promise ring, a cast iron porcelin coated soup pot, victoira secret body wash and sprays, a new makeup bag, gc to ralph loren, ralph loren perfume, a clock for my wall, a cozy new couch blanket, a gift basket with christmas items, flashlights, gc for mani and pedi... i think thats it (lol)

from my ex-inlaws.. $25 and gc for walmart for $50

Dh was so good to me..
got me a Brand new washer and dryer which was delivered Christmas eve
and he got me the Wii.........

I got the best gift of all....... a baby (who's 3 yrs old) that FINALLY sleeps in his OWN bed at night, ALL night!!!! LOL

But seriously, we are in our brand new home after having a flood and have twice the space we did have. The kids had a GREAT Christmas and it wasn't spent in a hotel room.

My parents gave us a little cash. My in-laws gave us a little cash. I also got 2 pretty sweaters and a nice sheet set for our bed (that we desperately needed). Then FIL gave us $50 gc for applebee's and a little cash. Grandparents gave (2) $25 WM gc that I'm going to use as part of my start to the new yr w/buying essentials (part of my $200/mos. budget I'm trying to get to).

I also got a new black peacoat to wear to church from dh. He used a small WM gc he'd been hoarding back from last Christmas that his company gave him as a Christmas gift. LOL
